Retreat is an interesting word. In one sense, it can be about going backward after a defeat by an enemy. In another, however, it can have nearly the opposite meaning–one that involves going forward after a period of reflection and input from others.
At Idaho2Fly, we’re all about providing men with cancer, or those who are currently in remission, an opportunity to spend time with a group of caring and supportive men whose own lives have been touched by this disease in some way. Through a series of moderated discussions, interspersed between time spent with a volunteer fishing buddy on some of the best trout streams in America, we create a relaxed and secure atmosphere for our guests to learn from others who are going through the same things they are.
Invariably, we all arrive at an Idaho2Fly retreat as strangers, but leave as a connected band of brothers. If you haven’t done so already, please check out just a few of the hundreds of comments we’ve received from our guests after they’ve experienced a retreat.
If you would like to begin the process of registering for a retreat, please click on the Guest Application button below, fill it out, and send it to us via one of the methods indicated at the bottom of the form. One of our volunteers will be in touch with you shortly after we receive your application.
Once you’ve been conditionally accepted, please return to this page to download the Activity Release form. We want to make sure that your physician feels that you are physically up to participating in a retreat so please have your doctor fill in the form, sign it, and return it directly to us. Once we have signed release in hand, we will notify you that your application has been accepted.
