Idaho2Fly provides an opportunity for Idaho men with cancer to get away from all the day-to-day worries and challenges of a cancer diagnosis by offering free retreats in beautiful settings where they can experience the thrill of fishing Idaho’s most iconic waters. Due to a strong registration response to our retreats this year, Idaho2Fly added a 5th retreat in November — We are excited about the opportunity to offer a local "urban retreat" option for men who have barriers to traveling so far away from home.

This Urban Retreat hosted by Homewood Suites by Hilton in Eagle Idaho, gives men with cancer the opportunity to spend time on the Boise River, one on best keep secrets and one of best fisheries in Idaho. The Eagle Retreat provides the opportunity to stay at a premier hotel, learn about the best places to fish in this local river without having a long drive time. Fishing the Boise River offers you both scenic beauty and a diverse array of fishing opportunities. Due to its easy access and abundant fish species, the Boise River is a draw to both beginner and experienced fly fisherman.

The Boise River is one of the best urban trout rivers in the country for both rainbow and brown trout with easy wading opportunities. If you’re nervous about being on the river, have no fear. We pair each guest with at least one fishing friend who knows the river and where to safely access them to get you onto the fish. It’s your time.
