Our Programs

Recognizing that outside our of local medical community, few resources exist to provide support for men dealing with cancer, Idaho2Fly set out to change that. We understand the difficulty men have reaching out to ask for assistance, expressing concerns about challenges they face, and seeking community with other men who have or are experiencing cancer.

Our goal is simple: To bring men with cancer together through the sport of fly fishing, various  events, outdoor activities, and support gatherings to help them find hope, healing, camaraderie and brotherhood.

Our expense paid retreats for men with cancer offer our guests an opportunity to experience some of Idaho’s best fly fishing, gorgeous scenery, and supportive company.  Local ongoing coffee gatherings, fishing outings, art and photography classes, are also available year around to keep you engaged and connected with your new support community.

Most importantly, we want you to know — You Are Not Alone!

Loving life more than ever. Thank you to all involved, I may have cancer but it does not have me.

Retreats

We host 4 expense-paid fly fishing retreats for men with cancer each year, occurring in July, August, September, and October.

Fly Fishing 101

Every spring Idaho2Fly offers several interactive Fly Fishing 101 classes in an effort to promote continued engagement with our guests.

Reunions

Beyond retreats and spectacular fly fishing trips, we are building a community of men supporting one another through reconnecting.

Coffee Groups

Men recently diagnosed with cancer or challenged with their cancer treatments are invited to attend Idaho2Fly’s biweekly coffee gatherings. These regular gatherings help men find community, connection, camaraderie and support throughout their cancer journey and continues the connections forged during their Idaho2Fly retreat experience.
